Jaedyn's 1st Halloween was so much fun!! Although I know baby's 1st Halloween is more for the mom's than the babies because they don't know what's going on, BUT I do know that Jaedyn had fun and she was SOO Cute!!

Trick-or Treat
We went to the church's trunk or treat and she was exhausted by the end, she only went to about 5 cars but she started walking the same day so she walked the whole thing :)

We were at my parents house and she saw a banana pepper and she grabbed it and started gnawing on it...
Once she finally bit through it...here was her first initial reaction...
It didn't stop her from eating it some more..
Finally it's the Holiday Season!! I love Holiday's and Christmas is my favorite but I do love the Holiday season, Halloween, Thanksgiving, THEN Christmas!!! And now, I love Holidays SOOO much more, now that I have a family of MY own. I can now start making my own family traditions (which I love family traditions) I'm so ECSTATIC!!! I also love that Jaedyn is a very smart girl and advanced that I'm going to celebrate like there's never going to be another Holiday. We're going to Party it up and craft!! I have goals to make it very festive as well!! So the first Holiday that Jaedyn is aware of what's going on (may not know what's going on but is very aware and wants to help wherever she can)
So let the Festivities BEGIN ::
1st thing she experienced was her very OWN 1st Pumpkin!!!

This is how it went ::
I gave her a choice of 6 different colors of tempra paint. I put them in a row and I let her pick 3. She was very patient she picked one color and I took it, then another, and another. So stinkin cute because it was like she knew what to do ;)
Then we stripped her down to her diaper and went outside and this is what happened ::
Off to the bath we went!!!

Luther got all 4 wisdom teeth out and he swelled up really bad...Hilarious, I must say! They gave him medication that made him EXTREMELY loopy. It was really funny at first I did think he was milking it but I quickly realized not true! He was HILARIOUS!! He can't say that I don't love him because the first day he had to put new gauze in his mouth that would drench in seconds. Yes, that's right I put my fingers putting gauze in his bloody mouth. It was gross but the things a wife and mom will do for there family and I wouldn't take back what I did for him because I love him!

I will say though, seeing and knowing what happened (drilling and such, Luther called it a mini jack hammer) and the after effects (pain) I DO NOT want to get my wisdom teeth out...Only time will tell I guess
It just breaks my heart knowing that Rachael doesn't allow Jonathan to meet his sister Jaedyn or his dad, Luther. Luther is such an amazing dad, I couldn't ask for anybody else better for my kids!! It's really sad that Jonathan is missing out on a father because of how amazing Luther is, he truly is missing out. Hopefully one day Rachael will soften her heart so Jaedyn can meet her older brother and have a relationship with his daddy!!
Every single day I think Jaedyn looks just like her brother. I often tell Luther that too. Luther must have a dominant gene considering I think Jonathan and Jaedyn looks a lot a like! And they both are super cute, after all he is smokin' hot!! :)
I was looking at pictures of Jonathan and Jaedyn and I just can't believe how much they look a like. We don't have hardly any pictures of Jonathan but I think this picture is about 9 months and Jaedyn will be 9 months in 2 weeks.

Conversation that Luther and I had:
Selena: Isn't crazy that tomorrow is 9-11...What were you doing?
Luther: I was in school and we were getting ready to run the mile and I said, "Teacher, we can't run the mile the terrorist will come and get us!"

YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT...I WAS IN 7TH GRADELuther & Emma: Laughing there Butt's off!!!
Selena: You couldn't have said that!
Luther: Why not?
Selena: You weren't in elementary you didn't say that because I was in 7th grade.
(((By this point they are laughing so hard because it doesn't make since. I was thinking that saying Teacher and the Terrorist quote would be something a elementary kid would say and if I was in 7th grade that makes Luther in 11th grade...So big confusion and a really good Laugh)))
On a side note...When I look at pictures or see video clips of the damage and the horrible things that happened to our country, or think of the families that lost family members due to this selfish act, I get so upset and so Angry!! I wish I could just do something to make a difference or knock some sense into people that's saying it was fake or people who talk bad about our country. I feel so blessed to live in a country that we live in although there are trials, not just in our personal life but trials as a country but by far we are the best country and the freedom that we have. I love that I can choose my own religion. I truly feel very blessed!! I would like to say how grateful I am to live in a free country and for people who have fought in this war to show and to protect us and our country. I would like to also say how grateful I am for Paramedic's, Firemen, Police Men, the Military, and everyone else who protect us!! God Bless the USA!!!

I LOVE Luther's job he won us free wizards tickets! It was really funny because Emma and Luther went and got dressed to go and 'not planned' but came down in Yellow and then we noticed it and they said Selena go put a yellow shirt on...Well I didn't have a yellow shirt so I just made due. We went to go pick up Amber and she came out in a yellow shirt 'totally unplanned' which ended up being hilarious especially when we saw the opposing teams, team color...YELLOW
Wizards vs Salt Lake

This was really cool...for half time they had a European Soccer Player do a bunch of stunts and really neat things with the Soccer Ball...This guy was truly talented!
Terri Dewey and I took the kids to Science City and let them play and Jaedyn had a BLAST!!
For Young Womens they had an activity to go boating and tubing and they needed an extra leader so I was able to go. It was a really fun day to spend with my sister and to share that experience with her!
We went on the annual family camp out and it was fun. We stayed up late drinking root-beer around the campfire eating beef jerky and smores. Mmm... Yum it was fun and relaxing! We didn't do dishes we ate all day and just relaxed!
We had to buy Jae her own lawn chair...I mean look how cute she is!!!
She discovered grass...She thinks it's fun to pick and eat the grass.
Luther was jumping to pull down the dead limbs so that we could have kinlin to start our fires.
Overall, it was a pretty fun campout
